Helm之于Kubernetes好比yum之于Red Hat Enterprise Linux，或者apt-get之于Ubuntu。

Helm是由helm CLI和Tiller組成，是典型的Client/Server應(yīng)用。helm運(yùn)行于客戶端，提供命令行界面；Tiller應(yīng)用運(yùn)行于Kubernetes內(nèi)部。

在Jerry之前的文章 里曾經(jīng)介紹過手動下載Helm安裝包，解壓后把執(zhí)行文件拷貝到環(huán)境變量的做法。

其實(shí)還有另外一種全自動的做法，使用安裝腳本自動安裝。

1. 自動下載安裝腳本

curl  https://raw.githubusercontent.com/helm/helm/master/scripts/get  > get_ helm.sh

打開腳本，可以看到helm安裝的環(huán)境變量HELM_INSTALL_DIR為/usr/local/bin:

2. chmod 700 get_helm.sh

./get_helm.sh:

3. 執(zhí)行helm init, 看到Happy Helming消息，說明安裝成功。

$HELM_HOME has been configured at /root/.helm.

Tiller (the Helm server-side component) has been installed into your Kubernetes Cluster.

Please note: by default, Tiller is deployed with an insecure 'allow unauthenticated users' policy.

To prevent this, run  helm init  with the --tiller-tls-verify flag.
